Eden Dodge, a junior Integrated Marketing Communications major at Ithaca College, has been selected to progress to the national finals in the Washington Media Scholars Case Competition!

After successfully competing in the qualifying round of the contest, the top 30 teams were chosen to contend in the semi-final round. Eden and her teammate (Olivia Winslow, a student at Anderson University) created a media plan that was reviewed by an expert panel of judges and chosen as one of the best in the nation. The team was one of only six selected to advance to compete this summer in Washington, D.C. for the National Excellence in Media Award and $16,000 in scholarships. The finalist teams have also earned a week of networking and training with media professionals from organizations such as POLITICO, Google, iHeart Media, and The Washington Post, with all expenses paid by the Washington Media Scholars Foundation. The final competition will take place at the end of the week, on June 13.

Congratulations to Eden and her competition advisor Dr. Farman. Good luck at nationals!
