Three H&S Students Present at the Eastern Communication Association Conference

 Three students from the School of Humanities and Sciences presented original research at the annual meeting of the Eastern Communication Association, April 11-14, in Providence, Rhode Island. The students presented versions of their senior theses. All three have earned departmental honors to be celebrated at graduation.

Alexa Flinker (Communication Studies): “Trait Argumentativeness and Familial Dysfunction: Differential Levels of Argumentativeness and Conflict Between Students and Parents.”

 Zoe Howland (Culture and Communication): “The Weather Is So Bipolar!’: Stigmatizing References to Mental Illness on Social Media.”

 Kathryn Kandra (Communication Studies): “Translating Shamlet.”
