Contributed by John Fracchia

Join us for an earth week lunch & learn event with IC aluma Stephanie Egan-Engels '06 on Monday, April 22 at 12Noon in Career Services.

Environmental, health, and safety is a large and sometimes less understood aspect of Sustainability.  Stephanie’s career path took her from an Art History with a Concentration in Architecture major with a strong interest in environmental issues to a Communications Specialist with the Tompkins County Recycling and Materials Management (previously known as Solid Waste Management Division) and now to TST BOCES where she deals with occupational health and safety hazards  such as lead based paint, asbestos, other indoor air quality issues, and other environmental testing and worker safety.  She’ll walk you through her career path and shed some light on the field of environmental, health, and safety.  FREE pizza will be provided.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact John Fracchia at jfracchia@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3365. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
