Felice Atesoglu Russell, Assistant Professor in the Department of Education, Christine Hafer, Assistant Professor, Department of Education, and Laura Kuo, Health Sciences Librarian, recently presented their research at the Ireland International Conference on Education in Dublin, Ireland.
The presentation,"Transdisciplinary Collaboration with an Academic Library to Support Undergraduate Equity and Access to Education Research in the U.S.," based on methodology from the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) measured how collaborative efforts between Education Department Faculty and Library Faculty impact undergraduates’ information literacy self-efficacy in education courses. Using a mixed-methods approach they examined ways students develop agency, self-advocacy skills, knowledge and access to information resources that support research.
