After 37 years of dedicated service to Ithaca College and Longview, Chris Pogorzala is retiring from her position as assistant professor of gerontology and IC/Longview partnership coordinator.
Chris started at IC as faculty in the Medical Records Administration program, joining the newly formed Gerontology Institute just over 20 years ago.
In her 20 years as IC/Longview partnership coordinator, Chris has been instrumental in developing and sustaining innovative and popular intergenerational programs now serving over 700 IC students across the college each academic year. Chris demonstrates excellence in all she does as a professor, program administrator, colleague, and friend.
We wish her all the best in retirement and thank her for her service to Ithaca College!
