Know More About Health and Wellness Resources for Students

At the Center for Health Promotion at Ithaca College, there are a variety of FREE and greatly reduced cost resources to help students find balance and be successful at school. 

Health and wellness relates directly to a student's ability to be successful in class. To support students, our office is pleased to offer the following programs:

- Free safer sex supplies.

- Free light therapy units to use.

- Free print resources regarding several health and wellness topics.

- Free "Be Tick Free at IC" tick removal kits to prevent tick borne illnesses like Lyme Disease.

- Free Nicotine Cessation Kits

- Free Student Health 101 online magazine.

- Free 1-on-1 Wellness Coaching through our THRIVE at IC program or our BASICS program (Balancing Alcohol and Substance Use to Increase College Success). **Both programs are free, confidential, flexible and nonjudgmental.**

- Monthly Student Chair Massage Days (reduced rate).

- Free Sleep Kits

Center for Health Promotion staff also provide health and wellness outreach to students that focuses on how to build and increase resiliency.
