Campus Wide Power Shutdown Reminder - Saturday, June 1st, 2019 and Sunday, August 11th, 2019

(The following message is being posted on behalf of Ernie McClatchie, Director of Maintenance, Grounds & Transportation) 

This is a reminder that in order to perform required maintenance on the campus electrical infrastructure, the Office of Facilities will be conducting its annual power shutdowns on Saturday, June 1st, 2019 and Sunday, August 11th, 2019.

Power will be turned off to the entire campus beginning at 6:00am on these two days, and power will be restored in the evening hours when work has been completed.  The Circle Apartments are not affected by this power shutdown.

It is the advice of IT that all computers and printers be unplugged before these interruptions.  Please communicate this to the appropriate personnel within your areas.  

As always, staff from the Office of Facilities will be present on campus during the shutdown and on call after these interruptions to ensure all systems resume to their normal functions.
