The Annual Salary Review Process will soon be underway. The salary increment budget has been approved by the Board of Trustees. Up to 1.5% has been allocated for a general increase and up to 0.5% has been allocated for additional merit.
Supervisors will be asked to recommend an appropriate increase of up to 1.5% for staff whose performance has been consistently good and who have demonstrated the job specific knowledge, skills, and behaviors to meet overall expectations of their position.
Individuals who have exceeded performance expectations and demonstrated initiative, leadership, and a commitment to the College’s mission throughout the year may be recommended for an additional merit amount. This year, each division has been provided a portion of the overall 0.5% additional merit allocation to be awarded within their areas for individuals that meet these criteria.
A general pool of funds for one-time bonuses has not been included in this year’s budget, but specific needs in this regard may be considered on a case by case basis by unit leadership.
While this limited increment pool is necessary given budget realities, we encourage all supervisors to consider other non-monetary ways to recognize and thank staff for their hard work and dedication.
If you have questions, concerns, or comments about the Annual Salary Review process, please contact Maura Fetsko, Associate Director, Compensation Programs. You are also encouraged to discuss the specifics of the process with your supervisor.
Thank you.
