It is with great sadness that we share the news of the sudden passing of Michael Alguire on Wednesday at his home. Michael was a valued member of the Systems Administrator team in Information Technology since 2004. Michael was a valued member of the Systems Administrator team in Information Technology since 2004.
Michael worked mostly behind the scenes managing our Windows server environment and Microsoft infrastructure. While the campus community might not have realized it, everyone benefited from his talents every time they logged into a campus Microsoft service or Windows server.
Michael was a vital part of the Information Technology team. Michael was incredibly diligent, dedicated and made many significant contributions to the college. One of many notable contributions was in configuring, installing, and maintaining a modern infrastructure which supported over 325 servers. His efforts increased the efficiency and resiliency of many technology services for the college.
Information about funeral services will be shared once plans have been finalized.
