The 2019-2020 Dependent Cash Award Application is now available!

What is the Dependent Cash Award?

The Dependent Cash Award is for eligible dependent children attending another accredited institution other than Ithaca College.  The maximum Cash Award benefit is $500 per semester, up to a total of $4,000 per dependent child.  If both parents are benefits-eligible Ithaca College employees, the maximum benefit is $1,000 per semester, up to a total benefit of $8,000 per child.

How do I access the online application?

There are 2 ways to access the application:

via ICHR Website

  1. Visit https://www.ithaca.edu/hr
  2. Click Employee Benefits & Wellness
  3. Click Learn More
  4. Click "CLICK HERE TO ACCESS THE APPLICATION FOR ANY FORM OF TUITION REMISSION" at the top of the page
  5. Login using your Netpass username and password

OR

via IC Workflow

  1. Visit https://apps.ithaca.edu/
  2. Click IC Workflow
  3. Login using your Netpass username and password
  4. Click Tuition Remission/Cash Award under Available Forms

When is the deadline to submit the application?

Applications are due July 1st for the Fall semester and November 1st for the Spring semester.  A completed application and a copy of the attending institution’s billing statement or invoice must be submitted for each semester the cash award is requested.  The billing statement/invoice must include an itemized tuition charge.
