Sakai Upgrade Coming Soon - Access will Temporarily be Unavailable

The Teaching & Learning with Technology team is excited to announce an upgrade to Sakai, Ithaca College's Learning Management System (LMS).

Due to maintenance users will not be able to access Sakai on Monday, August 12, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Once Sakai is back online, users will be able to access Sakai and begin/continue creating courses for Fall 2019.

Updates to Sakai 12.5 include:

• Improved look and feel with improved navigation
• Improved responsive design and better performance on mobile devices
• Gradebook performance enhancements
• Updates to Assignments tool
• A new "Commons" tool for social connections
• Improved modern interface for the Chat tool
• Updates to the Lessons tool
• Updates to Test and Quizzes
• Accessibility improvements

Users are invited to participate in upcoming training sessions and one-on-one consultations hosted by the TLT team. The Instructional Media Lab (IML – Job 102) will be open for drop-in support beginning on Monday, August 19. Please watch for more announcements regarding these events.
