Dr. Sara Haefeli, (Associate Professor of Music History) publishes a chapter in a collection of essays, The Norton Guide to Teaching Music History.
Haefeli's chapter is a survey of writing strategies employed in music history courses, from formal research papers - to less formal program notes and listening journals. Her work guides readers to resources on the teaching of writing, and offers a call for more research on how to teach students to write well in music history core classes.
