The Women’s Mentoring Network is excited to kick off another academic year!
The WMN is open to all faculty and staff that identify as women with the purpose of enabling women to connect in meaningful ways to support their goals.
General Information:
The WMN will be moving to using Microsoft Teams as a platform to organize communication, resources etc. Please click on this link to request to join. You can download Teams to your desktop and/or use the web based app. It’s a work in progress and content will continue to be added… major features:
o One stop shop location for resources and information to replace mass emails
o Options to have conversations through channels and chats
o Will sync with Outlook calendars for ease of scheduling
The 3 prong structure will continue:
o Mentoring circles using a peer mentoring model
o Individual mentoring opportunities
o Group events. Details coming soon... stay tuned!

§ We are planning an event with Jan Singer for October 23!
§ Possible session on conflict resolution this fall!
§ The Coffee Conversations were very popular last year.
We are looking for topics and hosts.
§ Do you have other ideas for large group event topics, speakers, formats?
An Advisory Board has been formed with 25 amazing women from across campus! These women all participated in various aspects of the WMN last year and will be an integral part in helping to ensure that the WMN fully meets the needs of our community.
