This presentation will show faculty how to implement core and advanced Top Hat functionalities to boost student engagement, participation and motivation. Learn how to automate attendance, engage students in class discussions, administer secure online tests and quizzes, and integrate Top Hat assignments with the Sakai Gradebook. Lunch will be provided to all attendees who RSVP by Tuesday, September 10th.
Heidi Hopkins from Ithaca’s Biology department has been using Top Hat in her courses. She will present ideas, challenges, and helpful tips to incorporating Top Hat into the classroom.
Francis Beattie, from Top Hat, will be presenting alongside Heidi to answer questions and help anyone interested in getting accounts set up for the Fall and Spring terms. Please join us for this lunch and learn event to find out whether any of the tools available will be a fit for your classes!
