Nancy Reynolds and Kristen Lind in the Center for Health Promotion, Center for Counseling, Health and Wellness, have earned the designation of National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC).

Health and Wellness Coaches partner with clients who seek self-directed, lasting health-related changes which align with their values. In the course of their work, health and wellness coaches display unconditional positive regard for their clients and a belief in their capacity for change. They honor each client as an expert on their own life, and ensure that all interactions are respectful and non-judgmental.

In the Center for Health Promotion, free wellness coaching is available to IC students as part of the Center's THRIVE@IC initiative for building resiliency and fostering student success. Last year, over 100 IC students completed one or more wellness coaching sessions.

Information about the THRIVE program can be found on the CHP website.

Congratulations, Kristen and Nancy!
