Please help us welcome an outstanding group of diversity scholars to the College on Wednesday, September 25th, between 4:00 and 5:30 p.m. in Clark Lounge, Campus Center.
Each scholar will speak briefly about their specific research and teaching foci, with informal discussion and refreshments to follow. Everyone is welcome - please help us give a strong show of support for these extraordinary scholars.
Diversity Fellows:
Natasha Bjard, fellow in the department of Psychology, is a PhD candidate in the Social psychology program at the University of Kansas. She is teaching Gender and Sexual Violence in the fall and Culture and Psychology in the spring.
Stephan Lefebvre, fellow in the Department of Economics, is a PhD candidate at American University. He is teaching Race and Economic Power in the fall and Mathematical Economics in the spring.
Ryan Moruzzi, Jr., fellow in the Department of mathematics, is a Post-Doc fellow, interested in Representation Theory and Lie Theory.
Jonathan Osborne, fellow in the Writing Department, is a PhD candidate in the English department at Northeastern University. Last year, he co-edited a collection of essays titled Landmark Essays on Rhetorics of Difference.
Gloria E. Poveda, fellow in the Department of Education, is a PhD candidate in the School of Education at the University of Michigan. She will be teaching Social and Cultural Foundations of Education in the fall.
