WHAT IS DEMOCRACY? is a reflection on democracy that spans millennia and continents, from ancient Athens' groundbreaking experiment in self-government to capitalism's roots in medieval Italy, and from modern-day Greece to the United States.

Perhaps you have seen the film.  But you've never seen it in a setting like this, where students will have an opportunity to immediately interact with two distinguished Ithaca College professors and one another, focusing on historical and contemporary issues raised by the film.
