Thursday, September 19 at 8:15 p.m. in the Hockett Family Recital Hall
Faculty Recital: Mike Truesdell, percussion.
The Connection: an evening of works for marimba and vibraphone spanning over 300 years. The recital threads a dramatic narrative through works of Alessandro Scarlatti, James P. Johnson, Karlheinz Stockhausen, and others to illuminate the varied connections that exist throughout these pieces from around the world.

Friday, September 20 at 5:00 p.m. in the Nabenhauer Recital Room
Ithaca Music Forum with Kate Storhoff, guest speaker. "Gender and the American Wind Ensemble Community: Challenging the Culture, 2017-2019"

Sunday, September 22 at 2:00 p.m. in DeWitt Park (Rain location: First Baptist Church, adjacent to DeWitt Park)
Founders Day Concert in the Park
The Wind Ensemble -- Christopher Hughes, conductor -- will present a program including A Salute to John Philip Sousa, Shenandoah, An American in Paris, and America the Beautiful

Monday, September 23 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hockett Family Recital Hall
After Dinner Mint: A Faculty Showcase
Celebrating the Life, Love, and Legacy of Clara Schumann
This concert will be livestreamed at www.ithaca.edu/music/live/watch/ and will be available on-demand a few days after the concert.
