09/25/19

Contributed by Kristin Van Ormer

Ithaca College's Students Today Alumni Tomorrow (STAT) is hosting the annual T-shirt design contest for the Cortaca Jug football game. Any current Ithaca College student is eligible to enter the contest! The winning designer will receive $400 in the form of an Amazon gift card. Second place will receive a $75 gift card, and third will receive a $25 gift card!

Contest Rules

Submit a white design in vector format that will be used on the front of a blue T-shirt. Design can be no larger than 14” wide x 15” high.

You may incorporate one of the athletics logos – we will provide a JPEG for design purposes; if your design is selected, we will provide a high-resolution image for final production. Contact Kristin Van Ormer as indicated below for the JPEG. Designers are strongly encouraged to download and review the college's identity standards at www.Ithaca.edu/brand where you can find logo usage guidelines, brand colors, prints fonts, and other resources before beginning your work.

Designs must reflect a professional look that conveys the excellence, pride, and tradition of the Ithaca College community and the rich history of the Cortaca Jug game. Given this year's game location at MetLife Stadium, please feel free to get creative! Although direct use of the "MetLife" logo may be prohibited by trademark restrictions, you can reference New York City, use a stadium image that alludes to MetLife Stadium, or other references.

We will be posting submissions on Facebook to gain the votes of our classmates. The top 3 designs with the most amount of likes will then be given to the final set of judges. Select members of the football team, cheerleading team, SGA and STAT will then vote on the winning design. Judges' decisions will be final.

All designs are due by 5:00 p.m. on October 18, 2019. Please email your design, along with your name and student ID number, to ithacastat@ithaca.edu.
