Harassment & Discrimination Prevention Training begins 9/27/19 for all Faculty, Staff and Student Employees

Ithaca College is committed to providing critical education and training to our faculty, staff and student employees.  As part of IC’s annual comprehensive training program, which ensures compliance with the recent New York State legal mandates, Ithaca College requires all employees to complete the EVERFI Harassment and Discrimination Prevention training course.  This online training will provide faculty, staff and student employees with useful resources that will help foster a safe, inclusive, and healthy campus environment by introducing and explaining various concepts surrounding harassment and discrimination.

Throughout the training, employees will explore policy and regulations by using online scenario-based interactions and case studies.  The awareness provided to employees through the course will aim to reinforce the policy and compliance in the workplace.  The estimated seat time to complete the training is approximately 60 minutes for non-supervisory employees or 90 minutes for employees with supervisory roles.

All employees will receive an email invitation from “Ithaca College <donotreply@lawroom.com>” with instructions to access the course on Friday, September 27, 2019. The deadline to complete the training is Wednesday, October 9, 2019.

To access the training:

  1. Go to: https://el.lawroom.com/shib/ithaca/ (copy and paste link)
  2. Login using your IC Netpass username and password
  3. Select: My Courses (located on the left menu)
  4. Find the appropriate course and select Begin Course: Harassment & Discrimination Prevention
