3rd Wednesday Laptop Health Check Clinics for IC Faculty and Staff

On the third Wednesday of each month from 12 pm - 3 pm, you're invited to bring your Ithaca College owned laptop to the Information Technology Service Desk located in Job 104 for a 'health check' and 'tune up'. Enjoy light refreshments as the IT team ensures your laptop is secure, operating efficiently and provides insight into best practices / tips and tricks that will enhance your computing experience. Do I need a Computer Health Check up?

Everyone can benefit from having their computer's health checked on. We will perform various inspections to ensure that your laptop is safe, optimized and running the way it is supposed to.

Examples of upcoming security enhancements being deployed to the campus are:

OneDrive Backup, which will provide a cloud backup of files stored locally on the hard drive of your computers to protect against ransomware and other loss
Bit-Locker and FileVault2 disk encryption which will help ensure that your data remains secure even if your laptop is lost or stolen
