THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3

7:00pm | Hockett Family Recital Hall
French Art Song Recital with the Voice Faculty and pianist Karl Paulnack
Music of Poulenc, Tailleferre, Ravel, Hahn, Fauré, Poldowski, Duparc and Roussel, sung by Alison Wahl, Ivy Walz, Patrice Pastore, Dawn Pierce, Brad Hougham, Dann Coakwell, Martha Guth, Deborah Montgomery Cove, and Jennifer Kay.


SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5

1:00pm | Hockett Family Recital Hall
Guest Recital: Deanna Swoboda, tuba

8:15pm | Ford Hall
Choral Collage
Choir, Treble Chorale, Madrigal Singers, and Chorus, conducted by Janet Galvan and Sean Linfors. Chorus offers music of Dawson, Garrett, Whitacre, and others; Madrigals sings a pair of madrigals plus music of Lauridsen and Bach. The Treble Chorale’s program includes Remember The Ladies, I Will Be a Child of Peace, and others; and the Choir will perform a set entitled The Call To Music.
This concert will be livestreamed at www.ithaca.edu/music/live/watch/  and will be available on-demand a few days after the concert.

 
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 9

8:15pm | Hockett Family Recital Hall
Faculty Recital: Calvin Wiersma, violin
with Kyle Armbrust, viola, Greg Hesselink, cello, and Alison Wahl, soprano. Mozart’s G Major Duo for violin and viola, Along the Field for soprano and violin by Vaughan Williams, Duo Sonata for violin and cello by Ravel and songs by Piazzolla.

 

All concerts are free and open to the public.
