It is with mixed emotions that we announce the departure of Kate Miller from the Academic Advising Center. Her final day in the AAC will be Tuesday, October 15th.  We will miss seeing Kate on a daily basis, but are thrilled for her new opportunity! Kate has accepted a position in the Office of the Registrar, here at Ithaca College.

Kate came to the AAC in August of 2016. Since that time, she has advised hundreds of students from across campus, is a member of the IEBC, and taught Ithaca Seminars for First Year Students and new Transfer Students. She has immersed herself in the administration of the First Year Check Point Survey, and has developed numerous technological systems for all three offices of the Center for Academic Advancement.

Please feel free to join us in the AAC Conference Room on Tuesday, October 15th anytime from 10 am to Noon to congratulate Kate! Light refreshments will be served. Congratulations, Kate, on your new assignment in the Office of the Registrar!

Beginning October 16th Kate will begin her new position as the Assistant Registrar for Curriculum Management within the Office of the Registrar, PRW 209. In this role Kate will support curriculum and catalog as well as work to revitalize the CIM and CAT technologies. Furthermore, Kate will support curriculum processing within Degree Works and Banner. Welcome to the team Kate!
