Directed by professor Austin Jones, this modern translation of Henrik Ibsen´s masterpiece revolves around Hedda, newly wed to Tesman, who leads with her manipulative, cruel and jealous nature. Defying stereotypes, she is a powerful heroine of her time. While she strives to fulfill her own desires, she deprives the people around her of happiness.
Performances will run in the McCarroll Studio Theatre in Dillingham Center from October 11th-October 26th. Purchase tickets at tickets.ithaca.edu or by calling the Ithaca College Theatre Box Office at (607) 274-3224. The Box Office is open Monday-Thursday (12-5pm), Friday (12-4pm) and one hour prior to every performance.
