Applications are being accepted for a three-year appointment (with the possibility of renewal) as the Director of the All-College IC2 Project. The appointment is anticipated to begin August 2020.
The IC2 Project is dedicated to fostering interdisciplinary and integrative learning for faculty and students across the college, goals which are partially fulfilled by the design and delivery of ICIC mini-courses in the program.
We seek a full-time, tenured faculty member to provide program leadership and administrative support and to guide the next stage of the project’s development in light of the campus’ new Strategic Plan. The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated interest in integrative learning; a commitment to inclusivity in practice; experience working collaboratively and effectively with faculty and staff across schools, disciplines, and fields; and strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Preferred qualifications include experience as an IC2 mini-course instructor and past administrative experience.
The Director receives three credits of reassigned time from teaching each fall and spring semester (six credits per year, in total) during the term of appointment.
Interested individuals should send a letter of interest and current CV to the Associate Provost for Academic Programs, Jeane Copenhaver-Johnson, at jcopenhaverjohnson@ithaca.edu. To ensure full consideration, materials should be submitted no later than Friday, November 15, 2019.
