Desmond Bratton MM '14, David Frumkin '88 and Cantor Abbe Lyons '87 will perform with multifaith ensemble RESONATE Sunday 10/27 at 7pm at Congregation Tikkun v'Or, 2550 N.Triphammer Road. Infusing middle Eastern and cantorial music into folk, rock, blues & jazz sounds, RESONATE's lyrics intertwine spiritual growth with social action. Bill McKibben describes RESONATE's music as "Deep, witty, tuneful - music for our moment and for the long haul."
In addition to alumni Bratton (double bass), Frumkin (violin, guitar, vocals) and Lyons (vocals, guitar), RESONATE includes Will Fudeman (mandola, guitar, vocals) and Mahmud Burton (oud, ney, frame drum, guitar).
Sliding scale admission $10-25, no one turned away for lack of funds.
