Support our first-year students in the ICSM program by attending the Third Annual Ithaca Seminar Symposium between 12 noon and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11, in Emerson Suites. Nearly 400 students will present traditional poster sessions, give individual readings, and share group/individual presentations.

Students in more than 25 first-year seminar sections have been working on individual or group projects throughout the semester. This is their first opportunity to showcase their work and talents to the college community at large. In meeting with the SLOs for the ICSM, students will use this symposium to gain experience in communication, public speaking, and information sharing. At past years' symposiums, students made further connections with faculty and staff, which led to more extensive presentations at the annual Whalen Symposium.

Although the end of the semester is quite busy for all members of the college community, please consider taking a few minutes of your time to offer your support and encouragement to members of the Class of 2023.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Jill Loop at jloop@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
