Dr. Elizabeth Bergman, associate professor and chair of gerontology, was recently awarded Fellow status in the Academy for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE).Dr. Elizabeth Bergman, associate professor and chair of gerontology, was recently awarded Fellow status in the Academy for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE).
Bergman received the award at the 2019 Annual Scientific Meeting of the Gerontological Society on Aging (GSA) in Austin, Texas. Bergman has been a member of GSA (Behavioral & Social Sciences section) and AGHE since 2003 and has been actively involved in AGHE leadership in many capacities since 2015.
