TODAY - Sound Healing: Destress Event

12/11/19

Contributed by Hierald Osorto

Stop by for a relaxing transition to the end of the semester today, Wednesday December 11th from 7-8PM .

Sound healing is a practice that uses vibrations (vocal or instrumental-like gongs, Tibetan singing bowls and tuning forks) in order to relax your mind and body. Take a rest from the hectic last week of classes with Amara Grace and the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life!

About Sound Healing
Sound baths (or sound meditation) is a gentle, yet powerful, path to relaxation and profound healing. Sound can be used to create coherence and harmony within every level of our beings; physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Every sound bath is a unique journey providing an endless opportunity for transformation.

Amara Grace is a sound worker that loves to create deeply immersive sound journeys, to weave a web of earthly and cosmic vibrations to help facilitate a healing space for people to transform and blossom into their highest self.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Religious and Spiritual Life at spirituallife@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
