At its recent meeting, the Ithaca College Board of Trustees elected 1989 School of Business graduate Kimberly Zeoli to a four-year term on the board.

Zeoli is a partner in the national Risk and Financial Advisory practice of Deloitte & Touche LLP, based in Boston, and is the leader of Deloitte’s New England Industry Program and Health Care practice. Prior to joining Deloitte in 2000, Zeoli had been with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Upstate New York in the Syracuse and Buffalo offices.

As a consultant, Zeoli has over two decades of experience serving health care and health tech companies headquartered in the U.S., Germany and Netherlands. She advises clients on a wide range of business management topics and has specialized experience in the areas of corporate governance, finance, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance. She is a certified public accountant licensed in New York and Massachusetts, and authored a chapter on responsibilities for audit committee members and executives in the guidebook “Answering the Call: Understanding the Duties, Risks, and Rewards of Corporate Governance.”

During Alumni Weekend in October, Zeoli was honored by the Ithaca College Alumni Association with the Volunteer Service Award, which goes to those who have contributed significantly, in a volunteer capacity, to the college as a whole or to a department, program or school. Zeoli has supported IC students in their professional endeavors since her own days as a student, when she worked in the Office of Residential Life, tutored other students, gave campus tours, and participated in various student-led organizations.

Since 2015, Zeoli has served as a member of the college’s School of Business Advisory Council and a volunteer for career service-related activities. She has also demonstrated her commitment to Ithaca College and its students through annual speaking and networking engagements at the school. Zeoli strives to visit campus at least twice a year to speak on panels and in classes, and she mentors students and young alumni on and off campus throughout the year to help them navigate the professional world. She has been active in college-related events in Ithaca and Boston, including Ithaca Today, Admitted Student Receptions, Boston Network Nights, and the IC Women’s Network. In spring 2019, she hosted a group of current students and recent graduates at Deloitte’s Boston office as part of a Meet the Firms field trip.

Active in other community efforts as well, Zeoli volunteers time to assist the Shriners Hospitals for Children in Boston and other youth-focused organizations. Over the past eight years, she has regularly led a team of volunteers from Deloitte that strives to do high-impact campus renovation projects at the Hurley K–8 School, a public Spanish-English immersion school in Boston’s South End. Additionally, in 2019 Zeoli joined the Boards of Directors of MVP Health Care Inc. and MVP Health Plan Inc., both headquartered in Schenectady, New York. She currently resides in Massachusetts in Needham, and part-time on Nantucket, with her husband Bill Zeoli and daughter Sabrina.
