With President Collado’s endorsement, Ithaca College has recently become part of the Age Friendly University (AFU) Global Network. This session is open to all IC faculty, staff, and administrators.

Please select the one that fits into your schedule.
RSVP here to join us on Tuesday, February 4, 12:10-1:05pm, lunch will be provided
RSVP here to join us on Wednesday, February 5, 3:00-4:00pm
Both sessions will be held in the Center for Faculty Excellence, 316 Gannett

We will explore what it means to be “age-friendly” across the lifespan, gather input on current “age-friendly” activities at IC, explore the intersection between the Age Friendly University movement and the Ithaca Forever Strategic Plan, and begin to establish future priorities. You do not need to do work that specifically focuses on aging or on any particular age group. All with an interest in age as a source of diversity are invited to attend.

A list of the Age Friendly University principles is available at https://www.dcu.ie/agefriendly/principles.shtml.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Colette Matisco at cmatisco@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3734. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
