La Cerise Noire is a scripted neo-vaudeville show peppered with a tantalizing variety of delectable delights including burlesque, drag, comedy, circus arts, belly dancing, grown-up puppetry, music, and much more to tickle your fancy.
La Cerise Noire will be hosted by producer/creator Mickie Quinn '94 as Cherry Bombe, with Nate “The Great” Marshall co-hosting and on keys. The script was developed by Ithaca legend Bob Proehl in collaboration with Quinn and the cast.
La Cerise Noire features the talents of:
Aundre Seals (musical comedy), Ben D Kaufman '20 (acrobatics), Dizzy DeScretion (drag), Isaac Sharp (musical storytelling), Kitschy Scofflaw '17 (drag), LilySilly Puppets (live music and puppetry), Regina '05 (bellydance), Scorpiana Von Lilith (burlesque), with Rob Natoli as Buck the Spotlight Operator, Katt “Double T” Hass as Emilio the Stagehand, Tazio Asta as the Postal Delivery Person, and featuring Scott Hitz as Benny Black.
