The Ithaca College department of intercollegiate athletics is accepting nominations for the 51st annual Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony as part of Alumni Weekend during the 2020-21 academic year.
The Ithaca College Athletic Hall of Fame was founded in 1969 to honor those persons who have made outstanding contributions to the intercollegiate athletics program at Ithaca College. Its purpose is to perpetuate the memory of those persons who have brought distinction, honor, and excellence to Ithaca College in athletics. A total of 15 charter members were inducted at the inaugural ceremony.
Candidates become eligible 10 years after graduating from Ithaca. Candidates for induction to the Hall of Fame can also include coaches, athletic trainers, administrators, or any other persons who have made outstanding contributions to athletics at Ithaca College and/or persons who, subsequent to their years at Ithaca College, have distinguished themselves in the field of athletics.
Nominations for the Hall of Fame will be accepted until March 31. Please contact Justin Lutes in the Athletics Communications office for nomination inquiries or suggested biographical updates and edits.
