IES Abroad, one of IC's main affiliated study abroad program partners, will be on campus next Wednesday 2/5, 6:00 pm in Friends 207 to offer a special session about funding and financial aid for study abroad. There will be discussion about financial aid offered by IES Abroad for students going on their programs, but funding opportunities available to students going on other study abroad programs will also be addressed.
Danielle Leonard, the IES Abroad representative offering the session, provides this description about what will be covered:
Learn about funding opportunities for study abroad students! The session will focus on finding study abroad scholarships. Both need-based and merit-based awards will be discussed. Strategize your study abroad experience and get some application tips and tricks—ALL ARE WELCOME! Pell Grant qualified students are especially encouraged to attend.
Immediately following the Access & Affordability session, Danielle will also offer an IES Abroad Program Overview (Wednesday 2/5, 7:00 pm in Friends 207), for those who wish to learn more about IES Abroad's programs.
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact the Office of International Programs at 274-3306 or intlprog@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
