Residential Life is excited to announce plans for expanding and enhancing the Residential Learning Community (RLC) experience for students for the 2020-21 academic year! RLCs are topical/interest based housing communities that focus on sharing ideas and interests and engaging in community activities and lectures. Each RLC includes 1-2 RLC Faculty/Staff Associates who advise/mentor the community.
In addition to some of our long standing RLCs, including HOME, Honors, and the Outdoor Adventure Learning Community, we are excited to introduce two new RLCs this coming fall:
Along with our new additions and in an effort to provide the best housing options for all students we are relocating a few of the RLCs for fall 2020:
All of our Residential Learning Communities (with the exception of STEM) are open to all IC students regardless of class year. Students may apply to live in any of our RLCs beginning Tuesday, February 4, 2020, through the Housing Portal via HomerConnect. Applications are due March 6, 2020.
