Challenging Unconcious Bias in Tech: Paula Ioanide - An Ed Tech Day Featured Session

On Thursday March 19th at 9 AM in the Clark lounge author and associate professor of comparative race and ethnicity studies at Ithaca College's Center for the Study of Culture, Race and Ethnicity, Paula Ioanide, PHD will lead a discussion on how unconcious bias sometimes produces unintended adverse effects through technology.  The presentation will offer current research on the role of unconcious bias in developing technology platforms and what we can do about it.
