This open discussion has been CANCELLED.

The Academic Resources Action Group (Ithaca Forever Strategic Planning) and the Center for Faculty Excellence invite faculty to attend a one-hour Open Discussion session with Tony DeFranco, Director of User Support Services, SUNY OER Services, on Friday, March 20, 2020.

Tony works with faculty, staff, and campus leaders to help them adopt, scale, and sustain OER initiatives at their institutions. Previously, Tony served in various leadership roles around technology support, distance learning, and OER efforts at Tompkins Cortland Community College.

We will have a casual conversation and an opportunity for Q&A with Tony as he shares his experiences and the impact he has seen with using resources and tools that help to engage students in learning, increase student success and retention, and positively change the teaching and learning landscape.

Join us on Friday, March 20, 2020 in the Center for Faculty Excellence, 316 Gannett Center, for a one-hour conversation.
Open Discussion sessions are 10:00-11:00am and 12:00-1:00pm.

Please register here via the CFE events calendar.

Tony is one of the Featured Speakers at Educational Technology Day on Thursday, March 19, 2020, held in the Campus Center and Emerson Suites. Visit the Ed Tech Day website http://ithaca.edu/edtechday for more information.
