For as long as she can remember, Cass Medcalf has fostered a love of storytelling. She began studying writing and acting at a young age; when she wasn't acting out musicals or imagined scenes in her bedroom she was curled up in a corner reading the adventures of others. Her love of literature, theatre, and music brought her to Ithaca College in 2010 as an English major with a Theatre minor... and then she discovered radio.

An abrupt shift into Television/Radio production led her down the path of live events, audio, and digital media production: dabbling in every facet of the industry from live concerts to podcasts and website design. To Cass, the most interesting stories are the ones real people write everyday, through research, interaction, discovery, and empathy. She works as a Production Manager and Sound Engineer for BSI Production, where she applies her technical skills to facilitate large events and concerts across New York state; and at her home in Ithaca, NY, where she records, mixes and masters everything from albums to audiobooks. She is also continuing to expand her skillset by studying applications of emerging technology and Virtual Reality in higher education for her graduate dissertation in Communications Innovation at Ithaca College.

These multidisciplinary gatherings will offer individuals exposure to new ideas, powerful questions, and learning.
They will provide dynamic interactivity, passionate debate, as well as offer a variety of perspectives and approaches.
They will inspire and maybe even cause us to ask big questions.
