Scott Lozea started his career with ESPN, right after graduating from Ithaca College in the Park School of Communications class of 1991.
After three years of being disciplined in many technical aspects of TV with the Sports Behemoth, he moved to New York City to help launch FX Networks. During the four years of editing for the Network, Scott maintained a freelance relationship with many companies, and shifted to operate fully as a freelancer from 1998 to 2000, covering such events as Running of the Bulls, Super Bowls, Pro Bowls, X Games, US Open Tennis Discovery Network, ESPYs, just to name a few.
In 2000, after working his first Olympics in Sydney Australia with NBC, he took a position as Senior Editor with a Post-Production House in Manhattan called Betelgeuse Productions whose mainstay was sports clients. In 2004, he entered the freelance world again. During this time he was asked to serve as an Edit Supervisor for the Torino Olympic Games, edit Daily Stories for the Beijing Olympics in 2008, and helped coordinate the Digital/DotCom production for Vancouver and London Olympics.
Scott was hired by the NBC Sports Group in 2011 as the Director, Post-Production.
During his career he has covered eight Olympics Games.
