It makes up 60% of your body. You can’t survive without it. Come meet guest experts from around the world to talk with you online about water.

Water is considered “blue gold,” but it’s more valuable than gold. In this course, you learn about your water footprint, water in your body, in your hometown and on the planet. We explore water from personal, social and creative views in this lively online class with conversations, films, readings and guest experts from around the world to answer your individual questions.

Guest experts from around the world visit you online to discuss:

What is your water footprint?

What is virtual water?

How can we create solutions?

We start the conversation with your connection to water and the water in your body. We discover how water is connected to every part of our lives. Next we ripple out to streams, rivers and oceans, then national and global water issues. Why is water an important part of diverse cultures? What are the realities of water, power and justice?

Take this asynchronous class from anywhere with high-speed online access. Fulfills ICC Humanities Quest for Sustainability + Power and Justice + Gen Ed. Requirements.
