The Office of Residential Life and Judicial Affairs will be hosting a virtual Student Meeting about Move-Out and Housing Selection on Thursday, May 7, from 12:10-1:00 p.m.
We are aware that students have been waiting to retrieve their belongings, and we thank them for their patience as we navigate together the public health crisis. We want to emphasize that the college must follow New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s executive order restricting large gatherings and imposing on-site workforce reductions, which has therefore prohibited us from being able to allow a return to campus as we had previously anticipated and originally announced.
As a result of the governor’s recent decision to begin a phased reopening of areas of New York State, we hope to be able to share a new date for the start of the move-out process in the coming days.
To provide more information about room selection, summer, and move-out, we will be hosting a virtual Student Meeting about Move-Out and Housing Selection on Thursday, May 7, from 12:10-1:00 p.m. It will include information for students and families who are unable to travel to campus to retrieve belongings. Students can register to participate in this meeting here, Residential Student Gathering Registration.
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact The Office of Residential Life at reslife@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
