Dear Campus Community:

As you may know, Congress is working on a fourth stimulus bill to address the economic fallout due to the impact of COVID-19. Draft legislation is anticipated to emerge within the next couple of weeks. As every sector of our country continues to experience the harsh economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, higher education institutions and their host communities are among those facing devastating financial challenges. It is absolutely critical to secure more funding for colleges and universities in this next round of stimulus legislation.

Now, more than ever, it is important for the collective voice of our campus community (students, faculty, staff, alumni, and trustees) to be heard. No matter where you are in the country right now, you can easily advocate for Ithaca College and all of higher education in the next stimulus bill by joining this important e-advocacy campaign being conducted by the New York Student Aid Alliance. Please use this convenient online tool to tell your representatives in Congress why federal relief is important to you and to the college.

Taking action will only take you 5 minutes, but it can have a tremendous impact!

Thank you for supporting the needed federal relief for higher education and Ithaca College during this unparalleled crisis.
