Join us for a livestream of The Effects of Gravity. David Gonzalez, Álvaro Domene, and Ithaca's own Luke Keller will show you how a poet, a musician, and an astrophysicist can jam on the formation of the universe!
The Effects of Gravity is a performance forging art and science; imagery and sound; inquiry and imagination.
Experience the scientific story of our cosmic origins—the formation of the universe, galaxies, stars, planets, our own solar system—illustrated with animated computer graphics, elucidated by original poetry inspired by the universe story, and embraced by a stunning musical framework performed live on a single 7-string electric guitar. This journey inspires engagement with the universe story and with our planet Earth.
