Boom and Bust (BINT 21000) is a tour of American economic history. This course aims to give you the essential foundations in order to understand the relationship between politics, regulation, technology and human behavior. These factors have created some of the greatest economic upheavals of our time, including the current Covid-19 pandemic.
If you are interested in history and especially economic history, or you would just like to learn a bit more about the context of certain events then this is a great course for you!
Boom and Bust is being offered this Fall T/R at 8am. Note that this course is designated Liberal Arts (LA) and is part of the The World of Systems Theme. It can also be used to fulfill a business elective, an open elective or a Liberal Arts elective.
