The Office of Energy Management & Sustainability is excited to announce that Ithaca College is a host institution for 2020’s Global Conference on Sustainability in Higher Education (GCSHE). GCSHE is hosted by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), where IC has been a member for nearly 10 years. With a theme of “Mobilizing for a Just Transition,” this year’s conference will focus on centering justice within the transformation from an extractive economy to a regenerative one, and ensuring that it leaves no one behind. Over the course of three days, GCSHE will bring together sustainability leaders from around the world in a virtual format to share effective models, policies, research, collaborations and transformative actions that advance sustainability in higher education and surrounding communities. You’ll find on-demand lightning talks, live discussions, networking, and world-renowned keynote speakers – all from the comfort of your computer!
