The Student Governance Council (SGC) announces Fall Elections. Students may run for an open seat on the council for the 2020-2021 academic year.
SGC Eligibility
To run, each student must:
Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5, excluding first-year students.
Be enrolled in at least 6 credits at IC, excluding Graduate Liaison candidates.

(1) Varsity Athlete Senator
(1) Club Athlete Senator
(1) Off-Campus Senator
(1) Graduate Senator

Complete the packet and send it (and your endorsements) to sgcsenatechair@ithaca.edu by Monday, 9/21 at 5 pm.
Attend a required campaigning information session on Tuesday, 9/22 at 8 PM.
Campaigning begins on Wednesday, 9/23 at 8 AM!
Present brief platform speeches at Platform Presentation Night on Thursday, 9/24 at 8 PM.
Voting beings on Thursday, 10/1 at 8 AM.
Voting closes on Friday, 10/2 at 11:59 PM.
Elected senators will be announced on Saturday, 10/3.
If elected, attend your first Senate meeting on Monday, 10/5 at 7 PM.
