STUDY ABROAD in 2021-22! Info session schedule - week of Sept. 21-25

Want to study abroad in 2021-22 or beyond? Need help finding the right program? Come to an info session and get the information you need to make it happen! It's definitely not too soon to start planning for your future international adventure now. IC will be holding two info sessions this week, and several of our study abroad partners will also be offering info sessions about their programs.
Please be aware that the sessions run by our study abroad partners are not just for Ithaca College students, but for students from around the country. Specific questions about how study abroad works at IC should be directed to the Office of International Programs and Extended Studies.
NOTE: some sessions require you to pre-register or RSVP, and others will allow you to simply join at the designated time and date.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22
- 3:00 pm - IES Abroad: Vienna, Austria - RSVP here. Vienna, Austria is a world-class city with much to offer. IES Abroad programs in Vienna include a wide range of subject areas, with specific focus on music/music history, business, and psychology.
- 9:00 pm - The Education Abroad Network (TEAN) in Southeast Asia - Register here. With unique programs in Southeast Asian hubs – like Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City – studying abroad in Southeast Asia offers fascinating experiences. Learn more about what it’s like to live, travel, and study in this part of the world.
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23
- 3:00 pm - Spanish Studies Abroad: Havana, Cuba - Register here. Havana is a beautiful city with historic neighborhoods and a diverse cultural heritage, making it the perfect setting for a meaningful cross-cultural learning experience for students who already speak some Spanish.
- 6:00 pm - IC Study Abroad Basics: Know Your Options - Join here (No need to pre-register; Meeting ID 999 3092 6713; Passcode 946736). This session is for students who are at the beginning stages of study abroad planning. We'll discuss how to best plan for study abroad, explain key terminology and types of programs available, talk about what to consider when choosing a program, and how to plan for the financial side of your study abroad experience.
- 7:00 pm - Ithaca College London Center - Join here (No need to pre-register; Meeting ID 934 7772 3343; Passcode 430448). Study in the heart of London! Learn everything you need to know about spending a summer or semester at the Ithaca College London Center.
- 9:00 pm - The Education Abroad Network (TEAN): Shanghai, China - Register here. Learn how you can study at one of China’s most prestigious learning institutions, Fudan University, choosing from more than 120 courses taught in English while also studying Mandarin.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24
- 3:00 pm - IES Abroad: Business Students - RSVP here. In this session you'll learn about programs that allow you to take business courses at prestigious universities while getting an inside look at the financial workings of your host country. Complement your courses with a hands-on internship that's sure to boost your resumé!
