Join the Office of Recreational Sports for FREE at-home workouts prepared by our student staff. Each week participants will be provided a series of written workouts and supplemental videos to help you stay active and well while away from campus. All workouts can be modified for either novice or experienced exercisers, and new this semester we're offering options for both bodyweight only exercises and workouts with equipment. Bodyweight only - Throughout this program, we will be providing you with at-home workouts to help you stay healthy and motivated to pursue your fitness goals and physical well being. This specific program will focus on bodyweight exercises, with a mix of both cardio and strength training. We're here to help with your home fitness journey at home!
Workouts with equipment - This program will incorporate basic gym or home equipment such as dumbbells, resistance bands of any size, kettlebells and other basic gym materials. This program will be four days a week with workouts ranging from HIIT cardio to hypertrophy and strength. We will include modifications for every exercise to ensure that this program is suited for all ability levels. We will provide demo videos for each exercise as well as post-exercise stretches. We're excited to be a part of your wellness journey during these uncertain times and look forward to being a part of your week even if it is remote!
Consult your primary care provider prior to engaging in these programs or another other fitness program. This is particularly true if you have a history of high blood pressure, heart disease, have experienced chest pain, or become easily short of breath. It is your responsibility to evaluate your own medical and physical condition and determine whether to use or modify any information that is presented here. Do not start this fitness program if your physician or health care provider advises against it. If you experience faintness, dizziness, pain, or shortness of breath at any time while exercising you should stop immediately. Any exercise program may result in injury. By voluntarily undertaking any exercise part of this program you assume the risk of any resulting injury.
