The Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) celebrates the achievements of Peggy Ryan Williams in a new article featuring alumni of the school who have gone on to become presidents at institutions of higher learning.
Williams, who obtained her Ed.D. from Harvard in 1983, was Ithaca College’s first female president, and was named president emerita upon her retirement in 2008 after leading the college for 11 years.
