STUDY ABROAD info sessions - week of October 19-23!

Want to study abroad in 2021-22 or beyond? Need help finding the right program? Not sure what your options are? Don't know how it all works? Come to an info session and get the information you need to make it happen! It's not too soon to start planning NOW for your future international adventure.
Please be aware that the sessions run by our study abroad partners are not just for Ithaca College students, but for students from around the country. Specific questions about how study abroad works at IC should be directed to the Office of International Programs and Extended Studies.
NOTE: most sessions require you to pre-register or RSVP.
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21
- 9:00 pm - The Education Abroad Network (TEAN) in Southeast Asia - REGISTER HERE. With unique programs in Southeast Asian hubs – like Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City – studying abroad in Southeast Asia offers fascinating experiences. Learn more about what it’s like to live, travel, and study in this part of the world.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 22
- 12:10 pm - Study Abroad Drop-in Advising - REGISTER HERE. A study abroad adviser will hold open office hours from 12:10-1:05. Stop anytime within the hour for drop-in advising. If there is another student with the adviser when you connect, you will be placed in the Zoom waiting room until the adviser is free. Note that this will not be a presentation, so be sure to bring questions!
- 3:00 pm - IES Abroad: Study Abroad for Business Students - RSVP HERE. In this session you'll learn about programs that allow you to take business courses at prestigious universities while getting an inside look at the financial workings of your host country. Complement your courses with a hands-on internship that's sure to boost your resumé!
- 4:00 pm - IC Study Abroad Basics: Know Your Options - REGISTER HERE. This session is for students who are at the beginning stages of study abroad planning. We'll discuss how to best plan for study abroad, explain key terminology and types of programs available, talk about what to consider when choosing a program, and how to plan for the financial side of your study abroad experience.
- 9:00 pm - The Education Abroad Network (TEAN): Shanghai, China - REGISTER HERE. Learn how you can study at one of China’s most prestigious learning institutions, Fudan University, choosing from more than 120 courses taught in English while also studying Mandarin.
